Nice place for a shop and lunch or breakfast large selection of jelly cat products. My wife had tuna and cheese panini and I had a breakfast roll with sausage and bacon our daughter had pancakes with maple syrup it was delicious as was the hot chocolate. Will be back.

We recently hired the private dining area at the Forest Cafe for a small baby shower celebration and we could not have been any happier with the service received from Micheil and the team.
From organising until the final bill was paid they were helpful every step of the way.
The private dining area is a beautifully decorated space that required no additional decor and comes with a speaker to play your own music through.
Afternoon tea with a small soup was the perfect combination for our celebration and a good variety of sweet and savoury.
We will be sure to use this facility again

Took my girls for lunch before a buying them some Jelly Cats. Food was lovely, tables all clean and x great atmosphere. Staff are very friendly too. Plenty parking 😋

We booked the private room for afternoon tea for my Auntie’s 70th birthday and it was amazing from start to finish. The staff are very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us but left us to enjoy too. The food was outstanding & there was plenty of it, we had a gluten free afternoon tea too & she was delighted with hers. I will definitely be back! Thank you so much you made our day even more special.

Great place for lunch or a coffee - nice atmosphere and staff are so welcoming and seem to want to go the extra mile to serve you. Prices a little on the high side but you get what you pay for. Will be back regularly

Had a lovely family lunch, we were quite a large party of 7,but we were accommodated without booking.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and took our order quickly.
Our food arrived quickly, and it was all delicious, especially the homemade soup.
A big bonus is the cafe is dog friendly, and have a small dog menu to choose from. We had our little dog with us, and she was happy to join in with the family meal out.
We had a lovely wander around the shop, lots of nice gift ideas.
We will definitely return, thanks.

We love our trips to Forest Cafe but have been really disappointed with the coffee making since two baristas left a few months ago. We love good coffee and it’s such a shame that you don’t have consistent training for your coffee making staff. The quality of your coffee can make or break the experience for your customers. Often the coffee is too hot and burnt or too milky. No consistency. Perhaps organise a training day with a top notch barista for all coffee making staff? And then only let staff make coffee for customers when the manager is happy with the taste?

We had a lovely meal at the Forest Cafe today. We had a mixture of brunch and lunch. The pancake stack with bacon and maple syrup with scrambled eggs on the side was delicious. Eggs are very creamy. My daughter had a tuna and cheese panini which was great and my husband had the steak fries which he enjoyed very much. Clear plates all round. The atmosphere is delightful and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The shop is also lovely to wander round.

Been back again! Loved our food and experience again here at the Forest Cafe, Treehouse. The food is just excellent and the staff are so friendly. Atmosphere is lovely. I love looking around the Treehouse shop after having a bite to eat. There is so much to see. Totally recommend a wee drive out to visit here. Well worth a visit.

Paid first visit today. Cafe was fine. Young gentleman serving were very pleasant and helpful.
My wife had pancakes with ice cream and a toffee sauce all covered with biscotti crumbs. If she could have got away with it she would have licked the plate clean. She loved it.
I had an ice cream sundae which was very nice but wasn't keen on the glass jug it came in. Having said that I really enjoyed it.
Based on our experience today we will be back to try other things off the menu.
Had a good walk around the shop area afterwards and bought a few things.
All in all quite happy.

A lovely wee cafe in the countryside. The cafe is adjoining to a home store that has interesting and high quality items. There is a show room for fireplaces too.
The cafe is owned by the same company that does The Pier at Aberdeen beach and Corner Tree, so you should expect a similar level of quality.
We enjoyed our food and drinks here, and will be recommending to our friends to check this wee hidden gem.

Had a brilliant lunch with the family here. Was very quiet at lunchtime on a Thursday. Food was spot on, and service was great. Will be back.

Popped in for tea and cake after a Mothers Day walk. A group of 4 servers were too interested in chatting than taking our order, once they had I ordered an ultimate hot chocolate but without the marshmallows. Menu states it came with a cookie but only came with a small bit of cream on top and was just warm, for the price it was essentially just a normal hot chocolate. My husbands cake was a bit dry. Overall not a great experience for the price we paid.
